I was born and raised in Bogota, Colombia where I started my Architecture studies and earned my B.A. in Architecture in 2012.  During those years I had the opportunity to participate in a variety of studios such as Multi-family development, historic preservation, regional and city planning and digital architecture representations. After graduation I worked in a couple of residential

architecture and Interior design firms. Both great places where I learned from my valuable and knowledgeable

co-workers and managers. In 2013 I moved to Chicago, IL where I improve my English and had some amazing life experiences with people from all over the world.

Living in this city was an amazing experience and opened my desire to learn more from the design world.

In spring of 2014 I moved to Charlotte, NC looking for new scenarios and adventures. I completed my M.A in interior architecture & design in 2015 and started my own family the following year. After couple years in NC my family and I moved to Florida where I had the opportunity to work for a great architecture & interior design firm. We moved back to Charlotte in 2020 and decided to settle in this area.

I enjoy spending quality time with my family, traveling, photography and playing with our dog. Also, I like cooking for others and baking cookies that sometimes I burn, but beside that I believe that no matter what you do, as long as you love what you are doing the rest will turn out good.

Currently I am in the process to obtain the NCARB and NCIDQ registrations. It is not an easy path for a foreign architect but I strongly believe in myself to accomplish my goals. I would like to keep growing professionally and building a strong career in the Architecture and Interior Design industry.
